Maldives

For most travelers visiting Maldives as tourists:

• No pre-arrival tourist visa is required.
• A free 30-day visa on arrival is usually granted to all nationalities when arriving in the Maldives.

Typical entry requirements include:

1. A passport with at least 1 month validity remaining and a machine-readable zone (MRZ).
2. Confirmed return/onward ticket.
3. Confirmed hotel/resort booking or proof of sufficient funds.
4. Completion of the online Traveller Declaration within 96 hours before arrival through the Maldives Immigration IMUGA portal.
5. Yellow fever vaccination certificate if arriving from or transiting through a yellow-fever-risk country.
